IMPORTANT NOTICE: National Night Out has been canceled due to the AQI and concern for the safety of our neighbors.
Due to unhealthy air quality (AQI), the Sunset Neighborhood Association has made the difficult decision to cancel this year's National Night Out event. The health and safety of our community is our highest priority.
This is our most beloved and attended neighborhood event each year, and we are truly disappointed to make this decision. The SNA is committed to creating community events that everyone can safely attend and enjoy. Under the current air quality conditions, we cannot ensure that all members of our community, including children, older adults, and those with respiratory or other health concerns, can participate safely.
We appreciate our neighborhood’s understanding and support. Thank you to our partners, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who planned to attend. We look forward to bringing everyone together for future community events under safer conditions.
Please continue to monitor local air quality conditions and take appropriate precautions if spending time outdoors.

Join us for an evening of community, food, and fun at our annual National Night Out celebration! This is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, connect with the Sunset Neighborhood Association Board, and enjoy some summer fun in the park.
We’ll have:
Bouncy house & lawn games
Free books for kids and adults
Raffle giveaways
Fried chicken, watermelon, veggie trays & ice cream sandwiches
BYOB and feel free to bring something to share!
We’re also expecting visits from Boise Police, the Boise Fire Department, and other special guests.
