Sunset Neighborhood Association Board of Directors

The SNA Board of Directors are elected by the General Membership of the neighborhood at our Annual Meeting in October, and each serves a two-year term. The Board of Directors elects Officers each year at the Annual Meeting.

Neighborhood Association Committees

You don’t have to hold a seat on the Board to make a difference in our neighborhood! If you are interested in participating in any of the following committees, or have ideas for other efforts, please don’t hesistate to contact us. Committees meet separately from the regular monthly board meetings, and meeting times vary based on member availability.


Public Agency Committee

Monitor meetings, agendas, and actions of public agencies and commissions, including ACHD, Ada Planning Association, and the City of Boise. Participate in ongoing dialogues with developers, the City, and County regarding development projects.

Neighborhood Reinvestment Committee

Apply for neighborhood reinvestment funds and explore multiple ways the neighborhood may be invested in, both by the neighborhood itself, and other organizations.

Events Committee

Build community by bringing residents together through activities and celebrations, which may range from small gatherings to large-scale events. These events help foster connections among members!

Communications Committee

Provide information to members and the public, including meeting minutes, and announcements, and coordinate outreach through newsletters, social media, or other platforms.

Bylaws Committee

Periodically review the Association’s Bylaws and propose amendments or updates as necessary. Ensure that the Bylaws remain consistent with applicable laws, and reflect the current practices and needs of the Association.

Grievance Committee

Receive concerns from the community and promptly recommend specific actions to the Board of Directors.
